Hello and thanks for sharing. Many times Men's Thigh High stockings are not comfortable. For example if you are 5'8" or shorter, the Men's Thigh Highs are way too long. Some men have varicose veins which are above the tops of thigh highs and for them a pantyhose or waist high stocking are both more appropriate and more comfortable. We do have a lot of men in pantyhose.

I agree with you. I have varicose veins and even after laser surgery my Doctor advised compression hose. I tried men's thigh high 20-30 mmHG compression but found them very uncomfortable. I then tried ladies' pantyhose in the same compression, both opaque and ultrasheer styles. It has been two years now and I wear the pantyhose every day. At first I was self-conscious about wearing ladies' pantyhose but now I don't worry about it as my legs feel great. I don't go a day without them.

Hi Jim,
Thank you so very much for your comments. The end results of compression hose do out weigh the cost! Being able to return to a more normal life and enjoy life is what it is about. It is so important for us to get the word out that wearing the correct support hose before a life style threatening problem occurs is imperative. Vanda

I couldn't agree more. My father -in-law has a similar problem regarding swelling in his legs, however this condition is caused by diabetes. After getting his legs and feet properly measured and fitted for compression hose, his swelling is non-existent as long as he wears them during the day.

Because he had to have his compression hose custom-made, they were expensive, but considering the relief they now provide the end results outweigh the cost.
